Event-Day Guides
Guide: At the Gate
Every attendee arrives with a ticket QR, however they registered. Scan it, read the colour, act.
Scanning
Open the event in the crew app and tap Scan. Point the camera at the ticket QR. The counter at the top shows how many people are in.
What the result means
Green: Checked in
"Check-in successful! Welcome to the event." Let them in, then tap Scan Next.
If the organiser turned on check-in photos, you can take one here. Ask the participant first; the photo is deleted 30 days after the event.
Amber: Already in
"Ticket already checked in." with the time of the first scan. Usually it's the same person scanned twice. If it's a different person, the ticket was shared: ask the organiser.
Red: Ticket not found
"Ticket not found for this event." The QR is for another event, or isn't a ticket. Send them to the walk-in poster, or use Search by name.

Open the app once on Wi-Fi
Before the event, open the crew app once with a good connection. It then keeps working with a weak signal on the day.
