Event-Day Guide: Walk-in

Didn't register beforehand? Scan the poster, fill in a short form and show your ticket QR. No app to install and no password.

For organisers

Walk-ins need three things: quick registration switched on, a free ticket type, and the Event QR poster at the entrance. See the organiser guide.

Step 1: Scan the poster

Point your phone camera at the Event QR at the entrance. The event page opens in your browser.

Step 2: Pick the free ticket

Under Get Your Ticket, tap the free ticket (for example Walk-in / Guest, marked FREE).

Step 3: Fill in the short form

The form says "No account needed — we'll email your ticket to you". Enter your full name, email and phone number, tick the consent box if there is one, then tap Complete Registration.

Step 4: Your ticket appears

You're registered! shows your ticket QR and ticket number on screen. A copy goes to your email, with a link to set a password if you want to use your account later.

Step 5: Show the QR to the crew

Registering doesn't check you in by itself. The crew scan your QR at the entrance, the same as everyone else.

Other situations

Situation	What to do
Already registered with that email	Tap Email my ticket again on the event page
Already have an account and signed in	Register as usual; your ticket is also in the app at my.gatherhub.app/me
Only paid tickets on sale	Sign in and pay on your phone, or ask the crew to help
No crew at the door, or an online event	The organiser shows an Online QR on a screen. Scan it to check yourself in
